Job Summary

    The Government Liaison Manager works in close partnership with different staff and managers in different offices, performing a broad range of liaison and partnership activities requiring a thorough understanding of Company's relationship.

Job Responsibilities 1

    Develop and maintain relationships with government officials, agencies, and regulatory bodies to represent the organization's interests and address legal and regulatory issues.

    Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, analyzing their potential impact on the organization and advising internal stakeholders accordingly.

    Coordinate and facilitate interactions between the organization and government entities, including meetings, hearings, and negotiations.

    Provide guidance and support to internal departments on compliance matters, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

    Prepare and submit regulatory filings, reports, and responses to inquiries from government authorities in a timely and accurate manner.

    Collaborate with legal counsel to assess legal risks, draft legal documents, and develop strategies for regulatory compliance and advocacy.

    Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging issues in government relations and regulatory affairs.

    Conduct training sessions and workshops for internal stakeholders to enhance understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance obligations.

    Serve as a liaison between the organization and industry associations, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders to advance common interests and objectives.

    Prepare and present reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management on government relations activities, regulatory developments, and compliance initiatives.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Profound understanding of governmental regulations, legislative processes, and regulatory frameworks relevant to the organization's sector.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with government officials, agencies, and internal stakeholders.

Analytical prowess to assess legal risks, interpret complex regulations, and devise strategies for compliance and advocacy.

Detail-oriented approach to prepare accurate regulatory filings, reports, and responses to governmental inquiries.

Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with legal teams and internal departments to ensure alignment with legal requirements and objectives.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
