Job Summary
The Senior Technical and Design Manager is responsible for all designing/technical aspects of the Companys operations, inclusive of value engineering opportunities, construction and overall methodology, method statements, engineering design drawings, shop drawings and material submittals and follow up approval. This position also manages the preparation/verification of detailed constructional drawings, negotiation and securing of technical and statutory approvals to achieve and monitor the optimum effectiveness.

Lead and manage interdisciplinary teams of designers, engineers, and technical experts to ensure seamless integration of design and technical aspects in projects.
Develop and implement design strategies and technical solutions that align with project goals, client requirements, and industry standards.
Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from conceptualization to completion, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex design and technical challenges, fostering innovation and problem-solving.
Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to establish project objectives, expectations, and deliverables.
Review and approve design concepts, technical drawings, specifications, and documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and completeness.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, promoting learning, innovation, and professional development.
Act as a primary point of contact for technical inquiries, design-related issues, and stakeholder communications, ensuring effective and timely resolution.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design and technical fields, integrating new knowledge and methodologies into project workflows.

Job Knowledge & Skills
Proficient in Building Information Modeling (BIM) software such as Revit, Navisworks, or BIM 360 for creating, managing, and coordinating BIM models.
Strong understanding of architectural, engineering, and construction principles to effectively integrate BIM into design and technical processes.
Excellent project management skills to oversee BIM implementation, coordinate interdisciplinary teams, and ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Advanced knowledge of BIM standards, protocols, and workflows to develop and maintain BIM standards tailored to project requirements and industry best practices.
Effective communication and leadership abilities to facilitate collaboration among project stakeholders, provide training and support on BIM methodologies, and drive continuous improvement in BIM processes.
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Job Experience
Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus
