Job Summary
The Supply Chain Contracts Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of supply chain and procurement contracts, ensuring commercial terms, risk allocation, and compliance requirements protect Organization interests while enabling reliable, cost-effective supply of goods and services. The role acts as the key point of contract governance across supplier agreements, working closely with Procurement, Legal, Finance, and operational stakeholders to negotiate, manage, and continuously improve contractual arrangements that support the company's supply chain objectives. This role leads a team of contract specialists/analysts, overseeing their workload, development, and performance to ensure consistent contract governance across the business.
Job Responsibilities 1
1.Draft, review, and negotiate supply chain contracts including supplier agreements, service level agreements (SLAs), framework agreements, and long-term supply contracts.
2. Maintain a centralized contract repository, tracking key dates such as renewals, expirations, and review milestones to ensure timely action.
3. Ensure all contracts comply with Baladna's internal policies, Qatari regulatory requirements, and relevant commercial law standards.
4. Standardize contract templates and clauses in coordination with Legal to reduce risk exposure and shorten negotiation cycles.
5. Lead or support commercial negotiations with suppliers on pricing, payment terms, delivery commitments, penalties, and service levels.
6. Partner with category and procurement managers to align contract terms with sourcing strategy and category plans.
7. Monitor supplier performance against contractual obligations and escalate or manage noncompliance and breach situations.
8. Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and commercial risks, including price volatility clauses, force majeure, liability caps, and confidentiality terms.
9. Ensure contracts include appropriate KPIs, penalty/incentive structures, and exit clauses to safeguard business interests.
10. Act as the primary liaison between Supply Chain, Legal, Finance, and business units on all contract-related matters.

Job Knowledge & Skills
1.Ability to independently draft and redline contracts, including complex commercial terms andrisk clauses.
2. Experience managing the full contract lifecycle in an ERP/contract management system (e.g., SAP Ariba, SuccessFactors, or similar).
3. Exposure to commodity or raw material supply agreements in a manufacturing or FMCG context
4. Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills — able to work confidently with Legal, Finance, and senior leadership.
5. Analytical mindset with attention to detail and risk awareness, particularly around commercial and compliance risk.
6. Fluency in English required; Arabic is an advantage.
Job Experience
Minimum 5 years working experience, 3 years relevant experience, 2 years GCC experience is plus.
