Job Summary

The Medical Tourism Manager will lead the international patient services and medical tourism strategy for The View Hospital. This role is responsible for developing and expanding the hospital's medical tourism footprint across key regional and global markets. The role includes setting up operational policies, building and nurturing agencies and partner relationships, coordinating patient journeys, and overseeing the medical tourism business end-to-end.

Job Responsibilities 1

Develops and implements The View Hospital’s medical tourism strategy aligned with overall institutional goals.

Identifies key target countries and regions for patient acquisition and create market-specific plans.

Builds brand visibility and trust for The View Hospital as a premier destination for international healthcare.

Identifies, onboards, and manages medical tourism agencies, brokers, referring physicians, and insurance facilitators.

Maintains regular communication with partners and ensures service level agreements are upheld.

Attends or organizes international conferences, roadshows, and B2B healthcare expos to develop referral networks.

Coordinates with hospital departments to ensure smooth patient experiences—from pre-arrival to post-discharge.

Job Responsibilities 2

Leads the international patient services team in managing logistics such as travel, accommodation, interpreter services, and appointment scheduling.

Creates SOPs and workflows to streamline coordination between clinical, administrative, and hospitality services for international patients.

Collaborates with finance and billing departments to manage international patient pricing, packages, and quotations.

Tracks revenues generated through international patients, and produces regular performance reports.

Responsible for overseeing financial performance by setting, tracking, and achieving key financial KPIs, including revenue growth, profit margins, and cost efficiency across all medical tourism operations.

Ensures all marketing, communication, and documentation are in compliance with local and international regulations.

Ensures international patients receive world-class service aligned with hospital standards.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of cultural nuances and patient expectations from GCC, MENA, and international markets.

Strong relationship management and communication skills.

Excellent organizational, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate across clinical and non-clinical departments.

Strategic thinking with a clear understanding of healthcare service delivery and global patient flows.

Multilingual abilities (Arabic, Russian, or other regional languages) are a plus.

Job Experience

5+ years of experience in healthcare business development, medical tourism, or international patient services.

Proven success in building international referral networks or leading medical tourism operations.
