Steel Electrical Foreman
Job Summary
The Steel Electrical Foreman Asst. Supervisors supports the manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing Electrical systems and equipment. They will Execute all necessary activities to ensure the smooth functioning of machinery used in the production process in direct co-ordination with the Electrical Supervisors or Electrical and automation Engineers, thereby minimizing downtime
Job Responsibilities 1
Providing motivation and assistance when necessary.
Assisting Electrical Supervisors in Inspecting and assessing the work done by the electrical technicians, AC technicians and electrical skilled workers.
Reading design schematics to ensure the proper installation of electrical systems.
Troubleshooting failures and malfunctions of appliances, apparatus, and fixtures with voltage ratings up to 1000V.
Overseeing the spare parts requirement and maintenance of the electrical equipment in the plant.
Ensuring the work is completed on schedule and to meet standard requirements.
Maintaining a safe and clean work area.
To ensure the availability of proper records of routine machine monitoring.
Lead the electrical work force to perform a variety of other maintenance tasks, such as electrical preventative maintenance, tag-out/lock-out, disconnecting and removing motors, and responding to emergencies.
Assist in providing training / toolbox talk to Technicians and skilled workers to Identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair; to ensure compliance with agreed codes, law, working practices and health and safety.
Draw and read electrical schematics, and/or diagrams.

Job Knowledge & Skills
Knowledge of safety requirements and safe working procedures while working with Electrical equipment /machines.
Knowledge in operation and maintenance of all types of Electrical machines, instruments, lighting equipment.
Basic Knowledge in PLC programing, AC -DC drives programing and related controls.
Knowledge in bar rolling process control system Along with leadership and troubleshooting skills some knowledge of computer software may also be required.
Should be capable of preparing work instructions, procedures, and electrical wiring /schematic diagrams.
Required strong analytical skills to trouble shoot and diagnose malfunctions in equipment to handle work individually and to guide the technicians in his downline.
Should be capable of giving training to the electricians working under him.
To work with all electrical equipment with necessary safety requirements.
Job Experience
Minimum 3 years of Industrial working experience Electrical field.
