Job Summary

    The Activation and Events Executive is responsible to plan, develop, and implement effective events and promotional campaigns, and programs to promote the commercial and residential properties as their preferred ones for customers and the malls as the destination of choice for entertainment and leisure as per the budget and as planned.

Job Responsibilities 1

    Identify and coordinate with the marketing manager to develop a 12-month marketing calendar for the mall events and promotions.

    Establish and coordinate with the marketing manager the event budget and manage event costs as per the allocated and approved budget.

    Prepare event notifications outlining responsibilities to ensure event needs are communicated to department heads and teams.

    Lead event operations which include vendor sourcing and selection, event communications, on-site coordination, etc.

    Produce detailed proposals for events including timelines, suppliers, budget, etc.

    Manage and oversee the entire setup and operational duties liaising with all the suppliers and events agencies to ensure that the events are delivered within budget, timescale, and as per the marketing events and promotions calendar.

    Document each event and create event recaps that include, photos, videos, ROI, retailer/partner results, as well an event summary.

    Track, analyze, and report the success of those campaigns and events.

    Prepare presentations for events/promotions-related programs.

    Organize and manage events implementation of promotional programs.

    Contribute to the development and execution of the department’s short to mid-term plans to ensure alignment with the division’s strategic priorities and contribute to the development of annual business plans for the assigned areas of responsibility to support the achievement of financial objectives.

    Provide input into the preparation and consolidation of the department’s budget, monitor financial performance during the year and identify areas of unsatisfactory performance (if any), and recommend mitigating actions.

    Research and understand the current trends and practices.

    Prepare event notifications outlining responsibilities to ensure event needs are communicated to department heads and teams.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of Marketing Retail Developments (Retail Malls / Shopping Centers / Mixed Use Developments) within the GCC.

Strong organizational skills including event management and activation setup experience.

Proficient in the use of computers particularly Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.

Strong presentation skills

Demonstrated capacity to work with an agile and open mind in a complex and multinational work environment alongside talented and strong-minded colleagues.

Ability to work under pressure and be determined to meet marketing calendar targets.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Marketing
