Airport System Manager
Job Summary
The Airport Systems Manager ensures the reliability, integration, and optimal performance of all critical airport operational systems that support airside, terminal, and landside operations. The role oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of systems such as the Airport Operational Database (AODB), Resource Management System (RMS), Flight Information Display System (FIDS), Baggage Handling System (BHS), and Passenger Processing Systems, ensuring seamless interoperability, data accuracy, and continuous operational availability.
Job Responsibilities 1
Oversee all mission-critical airport systems to ensure reliability, performance, and real-time availability across operational areas.
Manage the integration and maintenance of related airport systems to ensure end-to-end operational efficiency.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, IT, and Operations teams to align system performance with operational requirements and service levels.
Develop and implement system improvement strategies to enhance automation, analytics, and operational decision-making capabilities.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and synchronization across systems interfacing with airlines, ground handlers, and government agencies.
Oversee vendor performance, system contracts, and SLAs to ensure timely upgrades, maintenance, and issue resolution.
Lead systems testing, commissioning, and integration during airport expansion or new system deployment projects.
Establish and maintain cybersecurity and business continuity measures for all operational systems.
Analyze system performance data and generate insights to support strategic planning, resource optimization, and digital transformation.
Train and mentor system engineers and operators, ensuring technical competency and readiness across the airport operations team.

Job Knowledge & Skills
Strong understanding of integrated airport operations systems and IT infrastructure.
Expertise in Airport Operational Systems Managemen systems.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills under operational time constraints.
Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder coordination capabilities.
ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, are a requirement to be successful in this role (this point to be available for all roles that have SAP access)
Job Experience
Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus
