Job Summary

To Assist the manager in ensuring revenue management and distribution of the hotels and manage day to day yield operations.

Job Responsibilities 1

  • Assist the manager in Optimizing and expanding distribution partnerships.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to the manager.
  • Support the manager in influencing the hotels to improve service level and operational standards.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with levels of staff at the client hotels.
  • Support the manager with data to help in creating and develop pricing strategies in conjunction with the individuality of each hotel.
  • Provide weekly dynamic forecast of expected results, variances, and budget comparisons.
  • Analyze room authorizations, rates and restrictions.
  • Ascertain function space authorizations, restrictions and rental.
  • Check rooms inventory to maximize cluster rooms revenue.
  • Maintain the transient rooms inventory for the hotels and responsible for maximizing transient revenue.
  • Release group rooms back into general inventory and ensure clean booking windows for customers
  • Assist in ensuring that the hotels sales strategies are effectively implemented in the reservation system and the inventory system.
  • Prepare sales strategy critique.

Job Responsibilities 2

  • Monitor transient and group inventory daily to ensure straight-line availability and maximization of revenue potential for all brands.
  • Support cluster selling initiatives by working with all reservation centers.
  • Use reservations system and demand forecasting systems to determine, implement and control selling strategies.
  • Make use of property diagnostic processes (PDP) are used to maximize revenue and profits.
  • Understand the working relationship between sales, reservations and property management systems.
  • Participate in periodic regional reviews
  • Promote and protect brand equity.
  • Achieve and exceed goals including performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc.
  • Attend meetings to plan, organize, prioritize, coordinate and manage activities and solutions.
  • Assist in establishing long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes.

Job Experience

Minimum 8 years of experience (required)

Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience (required)

Education

Bachelor's Degree
