Job Summary

    The Assistant Spa Manager is responsible in providing comprehensive support to the Spa Manager in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the spa facility. They assist in overseeing daily spa operations, including scheduling appointments, managing staff, and maintaining inventory levels. Additionally, Assistant Spa Managers play a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. They collaborate with the Spa Manager to develop and implement spa policies, procedures, and promotional strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue. Ultimately, Assistant Spa Managers contribute to the overall success of the spa by assisting in managerial tasks and fostering a positive and rejuvenating experience for clients.

Job Responsibilities 1

    Assist in overseeing all aspects of spa operations, including staff management, scheduling, and inventory control, to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

    Supervise spa staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to maintain high standards of professionalism and guest satisfaction.

    Collaborate with the Spa Manager to develop and implement policies, procedures, and operational guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

    Assist in managing spa reservations and appointments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in booking and confirming services.

    Monitor inventory levels of spa products and supplies, coordinating orders and deliveries as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.

    Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues and ensure a positive guest experience.

    Assist in developing and implementing marketing and promotional initiatives to attract new clients and retain existing ones.

    Conduct regular inspections of spa facilities and equipment, identifying maintenance needs and coordinating repairs or replacements as necessary.

    Prepare reports on spa performance, including revenue, occupancy rates, and guest satisfaction metrics, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.

    Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of spa services within the overall hotel or resort operation.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Comprehensive understanding of spa operations, including treatments, procedures, and customer service standards, to effectively assist in managing day-to-day activities.

Strong leadership and team management abilities to supervise spa staff, delegate tasks, and ensure a cohesive and high-performing team.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients, staff, and management, fostering positive relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.

Knowledge of spa software systems and booking platforms to manage appointments, track inventory, and generate reports accurately and efficiently.

Problem-solving skills to address operational challenges, handle guest inquiries or complaints, and make timely decisions to maintain spa operations smoothly.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
