Job Summary
To assist in the monitoring of all legal activities within the Group to ensure that they are carried out in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and charters of the companies within the Group. The position helps to develop, maintain, and disseminate legal information to all stakeholders (e.g., cases, statutes, and regulations) and to provide support to the legal team and while ensuring staff knowledge remains up-to-date.
Job Responsibilities 1
Contribute to the development and execution of the department’s short to mid-term plans to ensure alignment with the division’s strategic priorities and contribute to the development of annual business plans for the assigned areas of responsibility to support the achievement of financial objectives.
Contribute to the monitoring, controling and reporting key performance indicators related to the department, to track performance and recommend corrective actions.
Contribute with ideas that support an efficient and effective structure and resource allocation for the department, to ensure smooth.
Contribute to general business law issues and managing the legal issues of all areas of the company, including but not limited to corporate matters, procurement, safety, security, insurance and sustainability issues.
Cooperate and collaborate with the other members of the legal department abroad.
Pro-actively create and maintain awareness of business employees for (compliance with) relevant laws and regulations.
Review all legal matters and conducts legal research and studies.
Job Responsibilities 2
Prepare draft contracts and agreements required for Company activities and reviews contracts and agreements and submits recommendations.
Prepare and draft legal documents (Notices, claim, official forms, etc.) and corporate documents (Board resolutions, shareholders’ assembly, minutes of the meetings, etc.
Prepare shareholder agreement, AoA, Partnership deed, joint venture agreement, PPP documents etc.
Participate with departments in negotiating contracts and agreements with other parties negotiating claims to reach amicable settlements of contractual disputes and reviews different types of tender documents.
Keep abreast of laws and regulations of the State of Qatar and Laws enacted and effective in GCC countries, and advice the stakeholders on the impacts of new laws and regulations.
Secure legal compliance of Company’s operations with relevant laws and regulations.

• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
