Job Summary

As a BMS Supervisor are responsible to monitor and control the operation of the building management system and checking of all building machines activities thru the BMS Software Platform, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:

Job Responsibilities 1

Able to lead a team of BMS operators and BMS technicians for day-to-day work.
Reporting to the BMS Engineer for system status on provided schedule and updating the team progress completion report.
Works on basic HVAC network systems, including fiber optic networks and building management communication network shooting.
Knows to use temperature and relative humidity meters, data loggers, electrical volt, and amp meters.
Works closely with HVAC and plumbing field technicians to facilitate repairs and maintenance of HVAC and plumbing equipment.
Coordinate with the respective department for corrective maintenance.
Assists other Maintenance team members when required.
Conduct the maintenance with planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules for implementation and handle the follow-up.
Analyze the behavior of the plants concerning the set point and set up the various control parameters.
Perform daily auditing of plant performance by utilizing the facilities built on the building management system (BMS), e.g., data logging, plant review, alarm manager status, etc.
Analyze reasons for the failure of plants and provides specific diagnostic, and problem analysis and specify the necessary remedial actions for Engineer/Supervisor’s approval

Job Knowledge & Skills

Must know how the principle of electrical and electronic.
Must understand drawings and learn how to read the units standard.
Able to lead a team of BMS Operators and BMS Technicians

Job Experience

Minimum 2-3 years of previous experience in the same role and proven knowledge in the operation and maintenance of the equipment, especially of HVAC equipment

Minimum 1 year in GCC preferred

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
