Job Summary

Job Responsibilities 1
Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and specialty drinks, following standardized recipes or creating unique concoctions.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting patrons, taking drink orders, and engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Possess a comprehensive understanding of various types of alcohol, liqueurs, mixers, and garnishes, as well as the ability to recommend drinks based on customer preferences.
Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked, including wiping down surfaces, washing glassware, and restocking inventory as needed.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments, giving change, and reconciling cash register at the end of the shift.
Adhere to local alcohol service regulations, including checking identification to verify legal drinking age and refusing service to intoxicated patrons.
Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, and supplies, and notify management when stock needs to be replenished to ensure smooth operations.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning tap lines, changing kegs, and troubleshooting equipment issues, to ensure the bar operates efficiently.
Encourage upselling by promoting specials, new drinks, or premium beverages to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
Work collaboratively with other bar staff, servers, and kitchen staff to coordinate orders, maintain service standards, and contribute to a positive work environment.

Job Knowledge & Skills
In-depth understanding of various types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including their ingredients, flavors, and proper mixing techniques, to craft high-quality drinks.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patrons, take drink orders, and provide recommendations based on customer preferences.
Knowledge of local and state alcohol service laws and regulations, including age verification procedures and responsible service practices, to ensure compliance and promote a safe environment.
Meticulous attention to detail to accurately measure ingredients, garnish drinks, and maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area.
Quick thinking and problem-solving skills to handle challenging situations, such as resolving customer complaints or addressing equipment malfunctions, while maintaining a positive customer experience.
Job Experience
Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
