Job Summary

    The Business Development Officer assists in ensuring the identification of new business growth opportunities, build and maintain relationship with clients as well as contribute to the overall strategic goals of the organization. The role is responsible in the preparation of market research to identify new opportunities, analyze customer base and current sales strategies while engaging with executives to establish strategies for pursuing these to increase efficiency and profitability.

Job Responsibilities 1

    Build strong relationships with customers, outside business contacts, and Company stakeholders

    Provide market intelligence through network of contacts.

    Recommend and develop business products/services and solutions to meet ongoing and future requirements.

    Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and engage with executives to establish strategies for pursuing the new opportunities.

    Maintain thorough knowledge of program details and business development process, as well as an understanding of how that impacts the other entities of contact.

    Collaborate and communicate successfully with other internal departments.

    Collect, analyze, and utilize data and feedback to identify opportunities to improve the relationships between business development and other departments.

    Assist in the development of promotional strategies to meet business development goals.

    Supports Business Development Manager to tap new opportunities/clients/markets.

    Develop lists of Clients, Bids, PQ’s, market leads, develop strong business relationship.

    Keep abreast on organizational best practices, policies, products, pricing, and promotions and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Strong business knowledge and experience interpreting financial data

Knowledge/experience of working in a commercial environment experience of networking to increase business opportunities

Experience of working within a target driven business

Ability to effectively research new markets

Analytical and detail-oriented

Strong negotiation skills, decision-making and leadership skills

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 3 years working experience, 2 years relevant working experience, 1 year GCC experience is a plus
