Job Summary

    The Butler is responsible for providing personalized service and assistance to meet the needs and preferences of clients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. They manage household operations, oversee staff, and maintain high standards of hospitality to create a seamless and luxurious experience for guests. Additionally, butlers anticipate and fulfill requests, handle special arrangements, and uphold the privacy and confidentiality of their clients.

Job Responsibilities 1

    Oversee the daily activities of the butler team, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring that all duties are carried out efficiently and to a high standards.

    Act as the primary point of contact for VIP guests, understanding their preferences and requirements, and ensuring that their needs are met with personalized and attentive service.

    Coordinate the preparation of guest rooms and suites, ensuring that they are immaculately cleaned, stocked with amenities, and customized to the guest's preferences before their arrival.

    Oversee valet services, including luggage handling, garment pressing, shoe shining, and other personalized services to enhance the guest experience.

    Handle special requests and arrangements for guests, such as organizing private dinners, arranging transportation, securing reservations, and fulfilling any other personalized needs.

    Manage inventory of guest amenities, linens, and other supplies, ensuring that stock levels are maintained, and orders are placed in a timely manner to meet demand.

    Ensure compliance with established protocols, procedures, and standards of service, maintaining confidentiality and discretion in all interactions with guests and staff.

    Address guest complaints, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively, demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to resolving problems to the guest's satisfaction.

    Maintain accurate records of guest preferences, requests, and interactions, and prepare reports on guest satisfaction, service delivery, and operational performance for management review.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Comprehensive understanding of the hospitality industry, including luxury service standards, guest preferences, and etiquette, to provide exceptional service and exceed guest expectations.

Proficiency in traditional butler duties, such as valet services, room preparation, and personalized guest assistance, ensuring a seamless and luxurious experience for guests.

Strong leadership and supervisory skills to oversee a team of butlers, delegate tasks, and ensure high standards of service delivery and guest satisfaction.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with guests, colleagues, and other staff members professionally and effectively, anticipating guest needs and providing personalized service.

Ability to think quickly and creatively to address guest inquiries, resolve issues, and handle unexpected situations, demonstrating flexibility and resourcefulness to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.

Job Experience

Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
