Job Summary
The Civil Engineer plans, designs and oversee construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure, such as roads, railways, airports, bridges, irrigation projects, power plants, and water and sewerage systems. Designs and build tall buildings and large structures that can withstand all weather condition.
Job Responsibilities 1
Develop and review civil engineering designs, including site layouts, grading plans, and drainage systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards.
Perform structural analysis and calculations to determine the strength, stability, and integrity of building structures and infrastructure components.
Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Conduct site inspections and assessments to evaluate existing conditions, identify constraints, and propose design solutions.
Recommend appropriate construction materials, methods, and techniques based on project specifications, budget constraints, and environmental considerations.
Coordinate with architects, other engineering disciplines, and construction teams to integrate civil engineering designs with overall project plans.
Assist in obtaining necessary permits, approvals, and regulatory clearances from local authorities and governing agencies.
Implement quality control measures to ensure compliance with design standards, specifications, and industry best practices.
Monitor project budgets and schedules, track progress, and proactively identify and address potential delays or cost overruns.
Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the design and construction process.

Job Knowledge & Skills
Understanding of structural principles and analysis methods to design safe and efficient structures.
Proficiency in CAD software for creating detailed engineering drawings and plans.
Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions to design challenges.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and regulatory authorities.
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role
Job Experience
Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
