Job Summary

Prepares and consolidates all required data related to resource and activity costs. Under appropriate supervision, he/she ensures the accuracy of cost coding based on the defined standards of the organization.

Job Responsibilities 1

Principal Accountabilities

  • Assists in collection of cost data related to labor allocation.
  • Assists in collection of cost data related to plant allocation.
  • Assists in collection of cost data related to materials.
  • Assists in collection of data related to subcontractor allocations.
  • Applications of Cost coding within Time Attendance and ERP Systems

 

Job Responsibilities 2


1. Assists in collection of cost data related to labor allocation 

  • Ensures accurate allocation and record of cost with respect to resource and activity codes

2. Assists in collection of cost data related the group outlets allocation 

  • Ensures accurate allocation and record of cost with respect to resource and activity codes

3. Assists in collection of cost data related to materials 

  • Ensures accurate allocation and record of cost with respect to resource and activity codes

4. Assists in collection of data related to subcontractor allocations 

  • Ensures accurate allocation and record of cost with respect to resource and activity codes

5. Applications of Cost coding within Time Attendance and ERP Systems 

  • Ensures accurate implementation of recorded cost coding within Time Attendance and ERP Systems

 

Additional Responsibilities 3

Job Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of cost control packages such as CCS (Candy) will be a distinct advantage

• Knowledge in project cost planning, scheduling and reporting

• Knowledge of the Operating Procedures for Project Controls & Cost Management functions

• Proficient with computer programs and a working knowledge of new technology

• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
