Job Summary

The primary jobs include preparing the marina for receiving ships to handle the mooring of vessels at the jetty including receiving the make-fast vessel ropes in a safe manner. In addition to this assist the Yacht-Master to prepare the ship for trips, doing simple maintenance jobs on the marina and ships, and cleaning the ship. Also, will have to assist in unloading and loading cargo

Job Responsibilities 1

To handle the mooring of vessels at the jetty including receiving the make-fast vessel ropes in a safe manner

To maintain cleanliness at the jetty.

To perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

Respond to emergencies at the jetties such as fire, oil spills, and security breaches.

Grease and clean machinery

Perform simple maintenance tasks on the jetty and Yacht

Load and unload cargo

Perform other tasks as instructed by the captain of the yacht

Job Knowledge & Skills

Independent worker and at the same time a team player

Ability to handle multiple and different kinds of ship’s operations.

Ability to work under pressure at highest service level.

Availability for working 24/7

Fluency in spoken and written English

Good communication  skills

Valid driving license.

Job Experience

Minimum of 2 years prior experience

1 year experience in GCC preferred
