Job Summary
The Manager - Dentistry will be overseeing all the operations of the Dental Center to ensure positive patient experience while establishing benchmarks for the team. This role involves maintaining the seamless operation of the Center by recruiting and training staff, and instituting protocols and guidelines. His/Her Tasks encompass aiding patients at the front desk, formulating Center budgets, and guiding a team to foster an organized and effective practice.
Job Responsibilities 1
Offers support to the dentists and delegates tasks among the staff.
Oversees the front desk, interacts with patients, answers questions about appointments, schedules, and services.
Supervises employees and helps resolve complaints and conflicts between patients/ guests and employees.
Manages the inventory of Dental Center supplies and orders replacements when needed.
Makes sure staff members keep treatment areas and waiting rooms clean and presentable.
Develops and enforces Hospital’s policies and protocols and makes sure that employees comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Ensures policies, procedures, and practices are in place and consistent with Hospital strategic direction/goals, medical practice, service delivery, and regulatory standards.
Job Responsibilities 2
Manages Human Resources activities for direct reports in regard to: recruiting and selection, hiring and termination, training, professional development, mentoring, counseling, performance evaluations.
Contributes to the development and execution of the Department’s short to mid-term plans to ensure alignment with the division’s strategic priorities and contribute to the development of annual business plans for the assigned areas of responsibility to support the achievement of financial objectives.
Provides input into the preparation and consolidation of the Department’s budget, monitors financial performance during the year, identifies areas of unsatisfactory performance (if any), and recommends mitigating actions.
Monitors, controls, and reports key performance indicators related to the Department to track performance and recommend corrective actions.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Ensures unit is meeting safe clinical practice and supports risk management activities.
Ensures compliance with all relevant organizational Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Quality Management (QM), and Patient Safety, policies, procedures, and controls across the Department to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality service standards and a responsible environmental attitude.

Job Experience
Minimum 8 years of experience in a medical or dental clinic setting (Required).
Five years of experience in managing a busy dental practice.
Minimum 3 years of experience in GCC (Preferred).
