Job Summary

The Specialist- Dentistry will diagnose and treat teeth. Also, s/he will give preventive care and treatment.

Job Responsibilities 1

Deals with the unique physical, emotional, and developmental needs of pediatric and adult patients.

Provides general dental care for adults and children.

Focuses on providing preventive, restorative, and emergency dental services.

Explains treatment processes and procedures to patients and their guardians to ensure they understand the dentist’s recommendations.

Handles emergencies such as dental trauma caused by accidents or abuse.

Performs dental exams and X-rays to identify potential problems with teeth and gums.

Diagnoses and treats dental conditions in children and adults, including cavities and infections.

Determines whether a patient’s teeth need to be cleaned or if cavities need to be filled.

Educates patients on proper oral hygiene techniques to prevent tooth decay, gum disease, and other issues.

Treats children and adults who have physical, behavioral, or emotional disabilities that affect their dental care needs.

Provides treatment to prevent orthodontic problems such as crooked teeth or jaw misalignment by prescribing braces or other devices.

Communicates with their patients and their guardians to explain procedures and treatment plans.

Helps children and adults feel more comfortable during dental procedures.

Extensive knowledge of Dental hygiene procedures.

Proficient in dental software programs.

Preventive dentistry.

Radiology (X-ray) techniques.

Job Experience

(5) years of Pediatric Dentistry experience and physician operation (Required).

Formal training in Pediatric Dentistry or Hospital Dentistry (Preferred).

Experience with dental equipment and tools.

Experience with surgeries and teeth extractions.
