Job Summary

    The Dietician is responsible to provide expert nutritional guidance and support to individuals seeking to improve their health and well-being through diet. They aim to assess clients' dietary needs, preferences, and goals, developing personalized nutrition plans tailored to their specific requirements. Additionally, Dieticians educate clients on nutrition principles, healthy eating habits, and the importance of a balanced diet in achieving optimal health. Job Responsibilities 1

    Conduct thorough nutritional assessments of clients, including their dietary habits, medical history, and lifestyle factors, to develop personalized nutrition plans.

    Educate clients on the principles of healthy eating, including portion control, nutrient balance, and food preparation techniques, to promote overall well-being.

    Provide individualized dietary recommendations to address specific health concerns or conditions, such as weight management, diabetes, heart disease, or gastrointestinal disorders.

    Monitor clients' progress towards their nutritional goals, conducting regular follow-up sessions to assess compliance, adjust meal plans, and offer ongoing support and encouragement.

    Stay abreast of the latest research, guidelines, and trends in nutrition and dietetics, continuously updating knowledge and skills to deliver evidence-based nutritional advice.

    Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and fitness trainers, to coordinate care and ensure holistic support for clients' health and wellness goals.

    Conduct group nutrition education sessions, workshops, or seminars to promote healthy eating habits and raise awareness of the importance of nutrition in overall health.

    Develop educational materials, such as handouts, meal plans, or online resources, to support clients in implementing dietary changes and making informed food choices.

    Advocate for nutrition-related policy changes or initiatives within the community or organization to promote healthier environments and lifestyles.

    Maintain accurate and confidential records of client consultations, assessments, and progress notes, adhering to ethical and professional standards in dietetic practice.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Profound understanding of nutrition science, including macronutrients, micronutrients, and dietary guidelines, to develop comprehensive and evidence-based nutrition plans.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively assess clients' nutritional needs, communicate dietary recommendations, and motivate behavior change.

Ability to analyze and interpret nutritional data, such as dietary intake records and lab results, to identify areas for improvement and tailor nutrition interventions accordingly.

Knowledge of special dietary considerations and restrictions, such as allergies, intolerances, and cultural or religious practices, to accommodate diverse client needs.

Continuous learning and professional development to stay updated on the latest research, trends, and advancements in the field of nutrition and dietetics.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
