Job Summary

The Beauty Technician responsibilities include advising clients on suitable treatments, answering all beauty-related questions, and ensuring that all tools and instruments are sterilized after every use. You should also be able to recommend appropriate skin care products and daily skin care regimens.

Job Responsibilities 1

Use waxing and electrolysis to remove facial and body hair.

Provide manicures and pedicures.

Give various types of facial and body massages, including hot stone and reflexology.

Conduct skin analysis (face and body).

Manage appointments.

Warmly welcome customers upon their arrival.

Update client records with contact details and treatments received.

Provide advice on makeup products and techniques based on each client’s needs.

Cross-sell beauty products and additional treatments, when appropriate.

Ensure all areas are clean and equipment is sterilized before use.

Job Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience with massages, hair removal techniques and face therapies.Up-to-date with cosmetic trends and makeup products.Excellent customer service abilities.Technical beauty skills to perform treatments to the highest standard.Customer service to make clients feel comfortable and well cared for.Verbal communication, including active listening, for learning about clients’ needs and explaining treatment options.Manual dexterity for performing treatments.Basic computer literacy for booking new appointments and processing payments in electronic systems.

• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
