Job Summary

Responsible for marketing strategies and activities within the company. Oversees the marketing department and provides direction and feedback on major projects. Makes key decisions regarding services distribution, budgeting, branding, and sales. Works with CEO & OM to set the overall direction and objectives for service offerings.

Job Responsibilities 1

Contributes to the implementation of marketing strategies.

Supports the Operations manager & Group Marketing team in overseeing the department's operations.

Organizes and attends marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness.

Researches and analyses market trends, competitor offerings, demographics and other information that affects marketing strategies.

Supports the SAC Management & OM  & Group Marketing Team in day-to-day marketing activities

Meets and coordinates with Group Marketing Team on a regular basis

Uses research findings and analysis to provide direction to group marketing Team members , OM & SAC Management , regarding upcoming marketing projects, new services and overall strategy

Job Responsibilities 2

Identifies areas for improvement in sales tactics, marketing strategy and promotional activities

Develops and implements and internal marketing program

Approves marketing campaigns and plans before they are implemented

Maintains the department’s budget and ensures all activities are cost-efficient

Organizes and attends marketing activities or events to raise brand awareness Liaises with stakeholders and vendors to promote success of activities and enhance the company’s presence

Collaborates with managers in preparing budgets and monitoring expenses

Job Knowledge & Skills

Proven experience as marketing officer or similar role

Solid knowledge of marketing techniques and principles

Good understanding of market research techniques, statistical and data analysis methods

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities

Knows how to be a team player with customer-oriented approach, with creativity and commercial awareness

Familiarity with marketing and email marketing softwares (Campaign Monitor, Google analytics, Mailchimp and the like)

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 7 years of total experience

3 years of (industry/Departmental) experience

Minimum 2 years in GCC

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or any related field
