Job Summary

    The Finance Director directs the day-to-day financial activities of the organization; controls its financial resources and ensures that all financial transactions, systems, and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles, and standards.

Job Responsibilities 1

Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.

Coordinate, analyze, and report the financial performance to Management and the Board of Directors (financial performance, projections, and other special projects as required).

Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties.

Implement a robust contracts management and financial management/ reporting system; ensures that contract billing and collection schedule is adhered to and that financial data and cash flow are steady and support operational requirements.

Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning; administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitors progress and changes and keep the senior leadership team abreast of the organization’s financial status.

Analyze and classify risks and investments to determine their potential impacts on companies.

Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting and collection procedures, and investment activities, and make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets, and other financial control functions.

Establish procedures for custody and control of assets, records, loan collateral, and securities, to ensure safekeeping and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices.

Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies

Job Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge and understanding of risk management frameworks and the operation, reporting, and

management of risk and internal controls.

Thorough understanding of general accounting principles and procedures.

Knowledge and experience in full cycle accounting.

Knowledge and operation of audit frameworks.

Knowledge of final responsibility for the quality and content of all financial data, reporting, and audits.

Budgeting and financial planning experience. Strong proficiency with MS Office Application along with

Accounting/Finance.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus
