Job Summary

The Financial Systems Director is responsible for leading the management, enhancement, and integration of financial systems to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations. This role combines strategic oversight with technical expertise to optimize the use of technology in financial processes, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and support the organization’s financial goals.

Job Responsibilities 1

Design a financial systems roadmap aligned with organizational objectives and long-term growth.

Manage the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of ERP and other financial systems.

Identify inefficiencies and lead initiatives to streamline financial operations through system enhancements.

Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and ensure data security across financial platforms.

Oversee the integration of financial systems with other organizational platforms for seamless data flow.

Ensure systems are configured to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Act as a liaison between finance, IT, and other departments to ensure system needs are met.

Manage relationships with software vendors, oversee contracts, and ensure system support.

Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends to drive continuous improvement in financial systems.

Manage and mentor financial systems staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Strong technical expertise in financial systems and database management.

Deep understanding of financial processes, reporting, and compliance requirements.

Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

ERP knowledge (preferably SAP) functional skills are a requirement to be successful in activities and ensure smooth departmental operations.

Job Experience

Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus
