Group Treasury Manager

Job Summary

    The Group Treasury Manager manages the treasury function within a group of companies or a multinational organization, ensuring effective cash management, liquidity, and risk mitigation across all entities. They are responsible for developing and implementing group-wide treasury strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize cash flows and maximize returns on cash investments. Additionally, the Group Treasury Manager plays a crucial role in managing banking relationships, negotiating banking services, and coordinating cash pooling and inter-Company financing arrangements to streamline liquidity management. They also assess and manage financial risks such as foreign exchange risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk to safeguard the group's financial stability.

    Develop and implement group-wide treasury strategies to optimize cash management, liquidity, and funding across multiple entities.

    Oversee the management of banking relationships, negotiating banking services, and coordinating cash pooling arrangements to maximize operational efficiency and minimize borrowing costs.

    Manage foreign exchange risk, interest rate risk, and other financial risks through hedging strategies, financial derivatives, and risk management techniques to safeguard the group's financial stability.

    Conduct cash flow forecasting and analysis to ensure adequate liquidity to meet financial obligations and support strategic initiatives.

    Supervise the execution of financial transactions, including wire transfers, investments, and debt financing, in accordance with established policies and guidelines.

    Develop and implement treasury policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.

    Provide financial advice and support to senior management on treasury-related matters, including financial risk assessments, investment strategies, and capital structure optimization.

    Monitor and analyze market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes to anticipate potential impacts on the group's financial position and strategies.

    Oversee the management of intercompany financing and capital allocation, ensuring efficient utilization of funds and alignment with group objectives.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in financial risk management, including foreign exchange risk, interest rate risk, and credit risk, is crucial for identifying and mitigating potential risks to the organization's financial stability.

Experience in managing banking relationships, negotiating banking services, and optimizing bank account structures to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to treasury operations, including anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and financial reporting standards.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are vital for building relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and financial institutions.

Experience in developing and implementing treasury policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus
