Job Summary
The HR Government Liaison Officer is responsible for building strong relationships with main governmental bodies and officials while acting as ambassador for the organization. The role will ensure successful implementation of public relations governmental functions and work closely with different parties to develop the Company public presence and ensure compliance to local laws and regulations.
Job Responsibilities 1
Process, submit and follow up all the Company official relations/ transactions with the government sectors.
Submit all renewals of visas and labor work permit cards with labor office as well as the immigration department.
Process the Employment Contract attestations, residence permit (RP) manual extension approval at the Ministry of Labor and helps to resolve the Labor Department issues.
Manage the Issuance and Renewals of new RPS, RP Renewal official documents (i.e., trade license, chamber of commerce, CR, municipality, customs clearance etc.)
Coordinate with the Criminal Investigation Department office to resolve Company pending issues such as overstaying employees, absconded cases and deportations.
Assist in processing the Police clearance, attestations of certificates in MOFA and Chamber of Commerce.
Obtain updates on Labor-related changes in relation to visa processing and other related issues.
Liaise with authorities to ensure Company compliance to local laws and regulations.
Process all renewals of driving license and labor health cards, Computer Card, Local transfers and conduct RP, and general Government Affairs information updates.
Responsible for the proper coordination of all employee government-related issues as applicable.
Liaise with all government institution with regards fines, penalties, or any inquiry.

Job Knowledge & Skills
Proficiency of Arabic Language, Moderate English Language, Other languages is a plus.
Relevant knowledge in Governmental laws and regulations.
Good people and communication skills.
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Job Experience
Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
