Job Summary

    The HSE Electrical Duty Holder is responsible to manage and train other health and safety staff members and frequently travel to perform field investigations and respond to incident reports to reduce potential hazards within an assigned workplace.

Job Responsibilities 1

    Take responsibility for ensuring electrical safety standards and regulations are implemented and maintained throughout the organization.

    Conduct risk assessments for electrical hazards in the workplace and implement controls to mitigate risks.

    Monitor compliance with electrical safety regulations, codes, and standards, and take corrective actions as necessary.

    Provide training and education on electrical safety procedures, practices, and regulations to employees.

    Investigate electrical incidents and accidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

    Develop and implement emergency procedures for electrical incidents, including evacuation plans and response protocols.

    Ensure regular inspection, testing, and maintenance of electrical equipment and installations to prevent malfunctions and hazards.

    Maintain accurate records of electrical safety procedures, incidents, inspections, and training activities.

    Communicate effectively with employees, contractors, and management regarding electrical safety policies, procedures, and requirements.

    Continuously review and improve electrical safety practices and procedures to enhance workplace safety and prevent accidents.

Job Responsibilities 2

Evaluates TEI objectives and targets from time to time for continual improvement.

Monitors the build-up and build-down of the TEIs and reflect these changes in the SLD for the review and approval of TEIAT.

These changes is necessary to ensure that power supply requirement is proportional with loads.

Recommends technical advices, measures, and methodologies to meet the emerged issues.

Advises on management and containment for all kind of electrical issues.

Ensures that occurrence and reoccurrence of electrical incidences and accidents should not take place.

Ensures that framed sustainability policy should be followed all across the operations.

Recommends and suggests any kind of changes in the procedure.

Job Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems.Excellent communication skills.Familiarity with state electrical and safety codes.Advanced troubleshooting skills.Basic computer skills.A good eye for detail.

• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
