Job Summary

    The HSE Engineer supports the Company HSE Manager/Project HSE Manager to implement the HSE management system. The role assists in planning, implementation, evaluation and analyzing HSE activities at site to ensure HSE target and objectives are measured and achieved.

Job Responsibilities 1

    Assist in the implementation of and compliance to the Project Health and Safety Management Plan (PHSP)

    and Project HSE Management Programme.

    Arrange, conduct and participates in training sessions, HSE Committee and Coordination Meetings.

    Advise supervisory Staff with regards to accident prevention and improvement related to work methods.

    Assist in leading and supervising HSE officers onsite.

    Monitor the execution of HSE activities on a project to ensure HSE requirements are met as per the project

    HSE plan and HSEMS requirement.

    Ensure that existing hazards, unsafe work conditions and /or practices are identified on a daily basis and

    observation reports are raised and corrective measures are recorded.

    Ensure to address and report violation on daily basis and make necessary recommendations.

    Monitor timely reporting of project HSE performance Ensure achievement of HSE goals on project.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of all relevant safety regulations, procedures and instructions. Knowledge in Qatar and International

Safety Standards. Knowledge in integrated Management System. Strong knowledge of environmental

regulations, including air, wastewater, and hazardous waste. Knowledge of Chemical Material Management,

including management of MSDS.Knowledge of pollution prevention and waste minimization initiatives.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Level 6 Diploma in OHS
