Job Summary

The Healthcare Operations Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operational functions across designated healthcare facilities, ensuring the efficient delivery of patient care services and administrative processes. The Senior Healthcare Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in translating organizational goals into actionable operational plans and leading departmental teams toward measurable outcomes.

Job Responsibilities 1

Implements, monitors, and enforces operational policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements.

 

Oversees day-to-day operational workflows across assigned departments or facilities, identifying and resolving inefficiencies in a timely manner.

 

Coordinates the seamless execution of logistical and administrative processes integral to hospital operations, ensuring optimized workflow and uninterrupted service delivery.

 

Monitors facility performance metrics and prepares regular operational reports with data-driven insights for senior leadership review.

Job Responsibilities 2

Contributes to the development of operational improvement initiatives by collecting data, engaging stakeholders, and recommending actionable solutions.

 

Participates in short- to medium-term planning processes, identifying operational risks and recommending mitigating actions.

 

Liaises with internal departments to ensure project milestones are met and that hospital services experience minimal disruption during change or transition.

 

Supports the design and execution of strategic operational plans aimed at improving efficiency, quality of care, and resource utilization.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Strong working knowledge of healthcare operations, facility management, and healthcare regulatory standards.

 

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple operational priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Proficiency in data analysis and operational reporting; ability to derive insights from metrics to support decision-making.

Job Experience

Minimum 10 years of working experience in healthcare or a related field.

At least 7 years in a relevant operational management or supervisory leadership role within a healthcare setting.
