Job Summary

The Infrastructure Director has a strong background in the infrastructure industry, with a proven track record of strategic leadership, operational management, and business development. Reporting directly to the executive team, the Infrastructure Director will be responsible for driving growth, maximizing profitability, and ensuring operational efficiency across all aspects of the infrastructure division.

Job Responsibilities 1

Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve financial targets.

Identify market trends, opportunities, and threats to inform strategic decision-making.

Evaluate and prioritize investment opportunities in new markets, products, and technologies.

Oversee all aspects of infrastructure sector, supply chain management, and quality control.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.

Optimize operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness through process improvements and resource optimization.

Identify and cultivate relationships with key customers, suppliers, and industry partners.

Lead negotiations for contracts, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships to expand market presence and enhance competitiveness.

Evaluate potential mergers and acquisitions to support business growth objectives.

Provide strong leadership and mentorship to a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Set clear performance objectives and provide regular feedback to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Develop talent pipelines and succession plans to support long-term growth and sustainability.

Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.

Monitor financial performance against targets, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Drive initiatives to improve profitability, cost control, and working capital management.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Technical Expertise – Proficient in AutoCAD and related tools with strong knowledge of power generation systems, infrastructure projects, and manufacturing processes aligned with industry best practices.

Leadership & Project Management – Experienced in leading teams, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and ensuring delivery in challenging environments.

Safety & Quality Commitment – Dedicated to upholding safety, quality, and environmental standards with a focus on operational excellence.

Interpersonal & Problem-Solving Skills – Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively and resolve complex challenges.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role

Job Experience

Minimum 20 years working experience, 15 years in a relevant management/leadership position, 5 years GCC experience is a plus
