Junior Technical Engineer
Job Summary
The Junior Technical Engineer works under the direct supervision of the Technical Engineer assisting in the selection and evaluation of suitable project materials. The role will assist to ensure compliance with project specifications and local authority requirements. This role collaborates with project teams to maintain high standards of material quality and adherence to regulatory standards.
Job Responsibilities 1
Assist in providing support in troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions and technical support for engineering projects.
Assist in the design and development of engineering solutions, creating technical drawings and specifications.
Assist in protyping and conducting tests and evaluations of materials, equipment, and systems to ensure they meet project requirements and standards.
Assist in the preparation and maintaining of documentation, including reports, manuals, and project records.
Assist in analyzing data and test results to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement in engineering processes and products.
Assist in quality assurance activities, ensuring that engineering outputs meet established quality standards and specifications.
Support project management activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and tracking project progress.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction best practices.
Work closely with senior engineers and other team members to ensure cohesive and integrated project delivery.

Job Knowledge & Skills
Basic understanding of fundamental engineering principles, including statics, dynamics, material properties, and load analysis.
Basic working knowledge in engineering design and analysis software such as AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro, or SAP2000 to create and evaluate structural designs.
Basic knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations that govern structural design and construction practices.
Ability to produce precise and accurate basic technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications for structural projects.
Strong communication and teamwork skills for effectively collaborating with architects, engineers, construction teams, and other stakeholders.
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Job Experience
0-3 years of relevant working experience.
Internship or previous experience in a construction or architectural firm.
Knowledge of project management software is plus.
Familiarity with sustainable construction practices.
