Job Summary

The Lead Mechanical Engineer is a pivotal role within the organization, responsible for providing technical leadership, guidance, and expertise in mechanical engineering to ensure the successful execution of projects. This role involves leading a team of mechanical engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and spearheading the design and development of mechanical systems.

Job Responsibilities 1

Provide technical support in respect to mechanical engineering discipline activities for potential investments, and determine the different phases, scope, budget, quality, and time.

Support the Investment Implementation Department for all procurement, investment control functions and commercial aspects of the investment in respect to mechanical engineering discipline activities.

Provide technical inputs in his experience to all HQ and site organization in accordance with the terms of the contract and advise taking of all measures necessary for the performance of the works.

Be authorized to represent in dealing of all mechanical engineering discipline activities with the client and third parties, making statements and representations in connection with negotiations with the client.

Provides technical, operational, and managerial leadership for successful development and implementation of the investment.

Oversees all implementation of investments that are in line with the original plans and forecasts related to mechanical engineering discipline activities.

Job Responsibilities 2

Develop, implement, and monitor operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for our key initiatives.

Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the performance of the operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.

Manage the key stakeholder’s communication and requirements mainly the client, Joint Venture members (if any) and leading entities for mechanical engineering discipline matters.

Support that investment mechanical engineering discipline activities operate within the policies and procedures and comply with all relevant legislation and professional standards.

Accountable on investment budget and baseline development for technical inputs.

Contribute to decision making cycle through preparing consolidated reports and address any specific challenges, risks, and mitigations about mechanical engineering discipline matters.

Job Experience

Minimum of 10 years of total working experience

Atleast 8 years of related working experience

2 years of GCC experience is a plus

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
