Job Summary

The Lead Technical Engineer oversees and drives technical excellence in projects within the energy and oil & gas sector. The ideal candidate will lead engineering teams, provide technical expertise, and ensure project success through innovation and efficiency. This role requires extensive knowledge of industry standards, equipment, and operations to support project execution while maintaining the highest safety and environmental standards.

Job Responsibilities 1

Provide technical guidance and oversight for engineering projects related to energy production, refining, pipelines, and related infrastructure.

Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring timely execution of deliverables and alignment with project scope, budget, and objectives.

Oversee the design and implementation of complex engineering solutions for upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.

Ensure engineering solutions comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols (e.g., API, ASME, OSHA, ISO).

Analyze existing operations to improve efficiency, reliability, and environmental performance.

Work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver technically sound solutions aligned with business goals.

Identify potential technical risks, implement mitigation strategies, and troubleshoot engineering challenges.

Prepare engineering reports, technical documentation, and recommendations for senior management

Job Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of engineering principles, project management, and industry best practices.

Familiarity with simulation software, process modeling tools, and technical analysis.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience working in offshore and onshore projects is a plus.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills 
are a requirement to be successful in this role

Job Experience

Minimum 5 years working experience, 3 years relevant working experience, 2 years GCC experience is a plus.

Education
