Job Summary

    The Lead Technical Proposal Engineer is responsible for the development, performance and maintenance of the tender process activities of the organization to obtain maximum efficiency, quality, service and profitability for the organization.

Lead the preparation of detailed technical proposals, ensuring that all client requirements and specifications are met.

Analyze project requirements and specifications to develop effective and competitive technical solutions.

Collaborate with engineering, project management, and other departments to gather necessary technical information for proposal development.

Prepare and review technical documents, drawings, and specifications to be included in the proposal.

Work with the estimation team to develop accurate cost estimates for technical aspects of the project.

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients during the proposal process, addressing any technical queries and providing necessary clarifications.

Ensure that all technical proposals comply with industry standards, regulations, and client-specific requirements.

Identify potential technical risks associated with the project and develop strategies to mitigate these risks in the proposal.

Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, showcasing the technical solutions and capabilities of the company.

Review and analyze past proposals to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices in future proposals.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio. Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Photoshop

Willingness to respond quickly and work outside of business hours.

Excellent managerial, supervisory, coordination and organizational skills. Experience within Bid or Proposal Management, preferably in construction or similar environment.

Project management skills, ability to deliver quality results under pressure and to deadlines, must be results oriented with a drive for excellence.

Exemplary organizational skills including accuracy, timeliness and detail oriented with the ability to work well under pressure managing multiple activities and meeting established goals in a deadline driven environment.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
