Job Summary

    The Light Auto Supervisor provides day to day hands-on supervision of the workshop to guarantees sufficient, clean, safe and defect-free light vehicles are available for service in line with the Company policies, regulatory standards and statutory guidelines, deadlines, and requirements.

Job Responsibilities 1

    Maximize utilization of Company owned light vehicles.

    Manage maintenance time of light vehicles.

    Follow up productivity of operations and team.

    Supervise vehicle utilization.

    Coordinate, supervise and participates in the repair and servicing of light vehicles and other gas and diesel powered

    automotive equipment.

    Coordinate with all workshop workers to achieve or exceed the business targets by ensuring that maximum productivity

    and technical efficiency.

    Assign, supervise and participate in major and minor mechanical repairs on light vehicles, diagnosed internal

    combustion engine maintenance problem.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of light vehicle maintenance procedures, including engine diagnostics, brake repair, fluid checks, and electrical systems, to oversee maintenance operations effectively.

Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with light vehicles, such as cars, vans, and light trucks, identifying root causes and implementing solutions to ensure vehicles are in optimal working condition.

Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and safety requirements governing the operation and maintenance of light vehicles, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Leadership and supervisory skills to oversee a team of mechanics, technicians, and support staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.

Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders, conveying information clearly, addressing concerns, and coordinating maintenance activities to meet project deadlines and objectives.

Job Experience

Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
