Job Summary

    The MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Construction Manager is responsible to oversee and manage all aspects of MEP construction projects, ensuring that mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems are installed and functioning efficiently within building projects. They are responsible for coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure that MEP systems are designed, installed, and commissioned according to project specifications, codes, and industry standards. Additionally, they oversee budgeting, scheduling, and procurement related to MEP systems, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The MEP Construction Manager also monitors quality control, safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the construction process.

Job Responsibilities 1

    Coordinate and control all Project Site activities, maximizing the utilization of the Company Resources,

    while maintaining high levels of quality, achieving programme targets

    Oversee the day-to-day construction management of the project.

    Prepare, supervise and approve the development of PEP [from construction point of vie and its

    implementation plus ensuring Lessons Learned are properly documented throughout the life of the project

    including Project Close-out environment.

Job Responsibilities 2

Monitor and supervise the activities of the Coordinators, Site Engineers, related supervisor staff and

control of labor on the site.

Implement the Project HSE Policy and Procedures.

Ensure to carry-out the tasks identified by the Project Manager and support Project Manager in smooth

progress and successful completion of Projects.

Ensure that the Company policies, Quality procedures, statutory regulations and Project specifications are

complied with.

Ensure that the work is carried out as per approved drawings, materials submittals and method statement and procedure.

Establish and maintain work environment required to achieve service conformity maintaining inspection and

test status of at all stages.

Manage the forecast requirements related to completion of the project on hand, inclusive of workers,

materials and equipment.

Report to the Project Manager regarding the progress of the work and also if deviation occurred, in

coordination with Project Planner.

Manage the control of materials, equipment and all other properties at site.

Direct completion of daily, weekly and monthly report of the Project to the management.

Managers and directs the approval of all material requisition orders.

Implement Quality Management System in the Project.

Lead and direct the achievements of the Project objective and targets.

Maintain records and documents as per Project Management.

Manage the controls of externally hired plant.

Ensure that the work is carried out in a non-hazardous and safe manner.

Job Knowledge & Skills

• Good knowledge of Construction and MEP activities and Quality Management System

• Knowledge of building systems, energy technologies, green building and high performance design. Understanding of marketing strategy and market analysis techniques is a strong plus.

• Team-oriented, hands-on, highly skilled, adaptive, and client-focused

• Knowledge of MEP construction and subcontracting (electrical and controls preferred)

• Strong written and oral communication skills for customer interaction and report writing.

• Knowledge of energy efficiency, performance contracting, commissioning, BIM or green building is a strong plus, Proven track record on completing projects.

• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Profesional degree in MMUP Engineer Registration (UPDA) or LEED Certification
