Nursing Supervisor
Job Summary
To oversee the daily business operations of the department in compliance with the superior and maintaining the company standards at all levels. To Promote and restore patients' health by developing day-to-day management and long-term planning of the patient care area; directing and developing staff; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staffs; providing physical and psychological support for patients, friends, and families.
Job Responsibilities 1
- Contribute to the development and execution of the department’s short to mid-term plans to ensure alignment with the division’s strategic priorities and contribute to the development of annual business plans for the assigned areas of responsibility to support the achievement of financial objectives.
 - Monitor, control and report key performance indicators related to the department, to track performance and recommend corrective actions.
 - Manage the performance management, career progression and activities of direct reports by setting annual objectives, identifying training opportunities, mentoring, coaching and providing constructive feedback to improve their performance.
 - Contribute with ideas that support an efficient and effective structure and resource allocation for the department, to ensure smooth workflow of operational processes and optimal utilization of resources.
 - Provide input into the preparation and consolidation of the department’s budget, monitor financial performance during the year and identify areas of unsatisfactory performance (if any), and recommend mitigating actions.
 - Participate in hiring of nursing staff by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees, communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions, recommending compensation actions, adhering to policies and procedures.
 
Job Responsibilities 2
- Meet nursing operational standards by contributing information to strategic plans and reviews, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, resolving problems, identifying system improvements.
 - Meet nursing financial standards by providing annual budget information, monitoring expenditures, identifying variances, implementing corrective actions.
 - Assure quality of care by developing and interpreting hospital and nursing division’s philosophies and standards of care, enforcing adherence to state board of nursing and state nurse practice act requirements and to other governing agency regulations, measuring health outcomes against standards, making or recommending adjustments.
 - Complete patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing and staff; following up on work results.
 - Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families.
 - Supervise nursing staff and makes daily physician and task assignments.

Job Knowledge & Skills
• Strong Knowledge of the Nursing Healthcare industry
• Any additional certification in healthcare administration will be considered an advantage
• Valid nursing license
• In-depth knowledge of hospital procedures
• Outstanding patient management skills
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Great organizational and time management
• Problem solver with a positive attitud
• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Job Experience
Minimum 10 years of Nursing experience (required)
5 Years of Supervisory Role
Minimum 3 years in GCC (preferred)
