Job Summary
The Onboarding Team Leader is responsible for designing, managing, and continuously improving the onboarding experience for new employees. The role ensures a seamless integration of new hires into the organization, fostering engagement, alignment with company culture, and faster time-to-productivity. The Onboarding Team Leader collaborates across departments to deliver a consistent and positive experience for all new employees.
Job Responsibilities 1
Act as the primary point of contact for new hires, providing guidance and support throughout the onboarding process. Serve as a "buddy" to introduce candidates to the company culture, values, and team dynamics, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and employment regulations across multiple countries, ensuring that the onboarding process adheres to legal requirements and regional differences.
Establish, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the success of the onboarding program. Use data-driven insights to make improvements, ensuring both team and organizational goals are met.
Develop strategies for integrating new hires into the company’s culture and values, promoting inclusivity and diversity throughout the onboarding experience.
Tailor onboarding plans to suit the specific needs of different departments or roles, ensuring that each new hire receives the tools, resources, and information necessary for success in their role.
Regularly evaluate and refine the onboarding process, seeking innovative solutions to enhance the experience for new hires and improving overall efficiency.
Collaborate with global HR teams to design and implement a standardized onboarding process across various regions, ensuring consistency while accommodating country-specific needs.
Work closely with managers to identify potential retention risks during the onboarding phase and implement strategies to address and mitigate these risks.
Leverage HR technologies and systems to streamline onboarding processes, such as automated workflows, self-service portals for new hires, and virtual onboarding platforms.
Develop mechanisms for capturing feedback from both new hires and hiring managers on the effectiveness of the onboarding process. Use feedback to continually refine and optimize the experience.

Serve as a key ambassador for the company’s employer brand, ensuring that every interaction with new hires enhances the organization’s reputation as an employer of choice.
Work with hiring managers, HR teams, and department leads to ensure that new hires are successfully integrated and supported, promoting collaboration and alignment across the organization
Additional Responsibilities 3
Job Knowledge & Skills
HR Process Expertise: Strong understanding of onboarding workflows, employee lifecycle, and HR best practices.
Technology Proficiency: Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (e.g.,SAP, Workday) and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Teams, Zoom, SharePoint).
Communication & Facilitation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present and facilitate sessions effectively.
Stakeholder Management: Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders efficiently.
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role (this point to be available for all roles that have SAP access)
Job Experience
Minimum 5 years working experience, 3 years relevant working experience, 2 years GCC experience is a plus.
