PMV Operations Manager
Job Summary
The PMV (Plant, Machinery and Vehicle) Operations Manager oversees the day to day operations to guarantee the adherence of standard operating procedures, internal controls, preventive maintenance protocols and regulatory compliance. The role implements dynamic team process strategies that leads to operational production growth and sustained high level of customer satisfaction while striving to exceed sales and profitability goals.
Job Responsibilities 1
Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of plant, machinery, and vehicles to ensure efficient and effective performance.
Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Coordinate the allocation and utilization of plant, machinery, and vehicles, ensuring resources are used efficiently and effectively.
Prepare and manage budgets for PMV operations, monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure all plant, machinery, and vehicles comply with safety regulations and standards, implementing safety protocols and training programs.
Supervise and manage the operations team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation to maintain high operational standards.
Manage relationships with equipment suppliers and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of parts and services.
Analyze operational performance and implement improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and streamline processes.
Prepare and present reports on PMV operations, including performance metrics, maintenance activities, and budget adherence.
Address and resolve issues related to plant, machinery, and vehicles, including troubleshooting technical problems and coordinating repairs.
Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies

Job Knowledge & Skills
In-depth knowledge of plant machinery, vehicles, and their maintenance requirements, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
Strong skills in managing and optimizing operations, including resource allocation, scheduling, and efficiency improvement.
Proficiency in budget management, financial planning, and cost control to ensure efficient use of resources and adherence to budget constraints.
Understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements related to plant and machinery operations, with the ability to implement effective safety protocols.
Excellent leadership and communication skills for managing teams, coordinating with vendors, and effectively reporting on operational performance and
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role
Job Experience
Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
