Job Summary
The Pastry Chef is responsible to bake various desserts in a kitchen within the restaurant and create pastries, cookies, and other baked goods, develop new and unique recipes to feature on the menu, and keep stock of the kitchen's inventory.
Job Responsibilities 1
Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread, etc. following traditional and modern
recipes with high standards.
Create new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers.
Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings, etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting.
Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar, etc., and make appropriate orders within budget.
Check the quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking.
Identify staffing needs and help recruit and train personnel.
Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards.
Promote high efficiency, courtesy, and high standards of social skill with confidence.
Promote health professional relations at work.
Develop new recipes for seasonal menus as per business demand.

Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
