Job Summary

    The Payroll Compliance Specialist ensures the accurate and compliant processing of payroll operations within an organization. They are responsible for monitoring and enforcing adherence to all relevant payroll laws, regulations, and policies. Additionally, they oversee payroll processes to ensure they meet legal requirements, such as tax withholding, wage and hour laws, and benefits administration. The Payroll Compliance Specialist may also conduct audits and reviews to identify any discrepancies or areas of non-compliance, as well as implement corrective measures.

Job Responsibilities 1

    Maintain subject matter expertise in payroll accounting and audit practices.

    Supervise all payroll accounting transactions for EOSS posting, regular payrolls, Off-cycle payroll, split calculations, etc.

    Maintaining a strategic and coordinated approach for resolving business compliance requests.

    Supervising detailed EOSS verification process.

    Proactively analyze payroll-related practices and Qatar Labor laws to ensure that payroll operations are aligned with the statutory requirements.

    Conducting detailed quarterly and spot audits on assigned payroll transactions to highlight any irregularities.

    Support the organization of appropriate internal controls and the development of standard audit procedures to ensure adherence to payroll policies and practices.

    Perform detailed verification process on all monthly payroll which includes but is not limited to all earnings and deductions.

    Prepare employee CTC and provide reports every month.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in using payroll processing software and systems.

Knowledge of features and functionalities of payroll management systems.

Proficient in maintaining accurate and organized payroll records.

Knowledge of record-keeping requirements and best practices.

Ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.

Address payroll-related issues and inquiries.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
