Job Summary

    The Planning Supervisor is responsible for demand and inventory forecasting, budgeting, and monitoring inventory levels efficiently and effectively.

Job Responsibilities 1

    Ensure the demand forecasting deliverables are as on time and accurate as possible.

    Undertake continuous improvement and adaptation of global best practices into the current forecasting and planning process to improve forecast accuracy levels.

    Obtain sign-off on the monthly rolling forecast with the Group/Brand/Outlet Managers.

    Ensure product stocks that can cover demand from customers.

    Inspect the levels of business supplies and raw materials to identify shortages.

    Identify critical level materials and act accordingly to avoid out-of-stock.

    Bring transparency in the monthly/weekly demand forecasting within the whole supply chain stakeholders to make the supply chain more effective.

    Review, measure and report forecast accuracy level/trends based on actual demand from customers and suggest revision if necessary, on a regular basis.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of Warehouse and Distribution principles.

Knowledge of program planning and implementation.

Knowledge of Quality systems/ HACCP/ISO/GMP.

Knowledge of Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS)

Knowledge of Capacity Planning and long-term planning

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus

Education
