Job Summary

The Planning and Merchandising Specialist is responsible for driving the success of product lines by strategically planning inventory, analyzing sales data, and executing effective merchandising strategies.

Job Responsibilities 1


Develop and execute inventory plans that align with sales forecasts, seasonal trends, and promotional activities.
Monitor stock levels and collaborate with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
Conduct regular analysis of inventory performance and adjust plans to optimize stock turnover and profitability.
Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and areas of improvement.
Prepare and present detailed reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and merchandising effectiveness.
Use data-driven insights to recommend adjustments to product assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies.
Collaborate with the Merchandising Manager and buying team to develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that drive customer engagement and sales.
Ensure that all merchandising activities align with brand standards and business objectives.
Work with visual merchandising teams to optimize product placement, displays, and store layouts to enhance the shopping experience.
Assist in the selection and planning of product assortments that meet customer demand and align with market trends.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Comprehensive job knowledge and skills in Inventory Management.
Strong knowledge and skills in Product Lifecycle Management.
Proficient in Supply Chain Management, with the ability to optimize processes and manage logistics 
Extensive knowledge and skills in Retail Operations,
Strong expertise in Merchandising
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 5 years working experience, 3 years relevant working experience, 2 years GCC experience is a plus

Education

Bachelor's Degree in any related field
