Job Summary

The Printshop Operator operates Printing system and produces clear and technically accurate drawings based on design specifications. This position also coordinates with designers, technicians and other personnel to incorporate concepts and information into drawing packages.

Essential Function

• Works with Printing systems creating, modifying and releasing drawings under direct supervisor of immediate superiors.
• Ensures to use the accepted drawing standards as guidelines.
• Prepares drawings in a timely and efficient manner in order to meet project deadlines and schedules
• Reviews completed construction drawings and cost estimates for accuracy and conformity to standards and regulations.
• Ensures accuracy and effectiveness in electronic drafting.
• Explains drawings to construction teams and engineers to provide adjustments as necessary.
• Prepares documents and reports.
• Conducts shop drawing review and deposition.
• Maintains data and document entry into various platform.

Job Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledgeable of drafting software for creating 2D and 3D computer drawings

• Knowledge about the specification and standard operating procedures

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point)

• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
