Job Summary

    The QA/QC Inspector assists in the effective implementation of Quality Control procedures across all site activities. The role examines the product/services and process of a Company to acquire the required quality standards and ensure compliance. Responsibilities include the discussion of inspection results with those responsible for products/services and recommend necessary corrective actions. Additionally, this position also verifies all construction vendors’ adherence to owner’s specifications, drawings and other guidelines for a specified construction project.

Job Responsibilities 1

    Conduct thorough inspections of products, materials, and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

    Maintain detailed records of inspection results, including measurements, test data, and observations, accurately documenting any deviations or non-conformities.

    Monitor and enforce adherence to quality assurance and quality control procedures, ensuring that all activities comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.

    Investigate and analyze the root causes of quality issues or defects, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to implement corrective and preventive actions.

    Evaluate supplier performance and product quality through audits, assessments, and sampling, providing feedback and recommendations to improve supplier quality.

    Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization, proposing and implementing changes to enhance product quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

    Provide training and guidance to production personnel on quality control procedures, standards, and best practices to ensure consistent quality across operations.

    Communicate with customers regarding quality-related concerns, addressing inquiries, providing explanations, and resolving issues to maintain customer satisfaction.

    Ensure compliance with relevant quality management systems, industry regulations, and certification requirements, participating in audits and assessments as needed.

    Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and suggestions for enhancing QA/QC processes, systems, and performance.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Comprehensive understanding of quality control processes, inspection techniques, and relevant industry standards and regulations.

Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and interpret technical specifications to assess product quality and identify areas for improvement.

Keen attention to detail to accurately identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities during inspections and quality control activities.

Effective communication abilities to convey technical information clearly, document inspection findings, and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve quality issues.

Skill in identifying root causes of quality issues, developing corrective actions, and implementing solutions to prevent recurrence and improve overall product quality.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or any related field
Professional Qualification in MMUP Engineer Registration (UPDA) or Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001 or equal) or ASQC certification (CQM/CQE).
