Job Summary

The Retail Leasing Manager is responsible to manage the leasing of retail spaces within the establishment ensuring that the properties are fully occupied and generating revenue. This role involves identifying potential tenants, negotiating lease agreements, and maintaining relationships with existing tenants. The Retail Leasing Manager will work closely with the property management team to ensure that the properties are well-maintained and meet tenant needs, and will be responsible for developing and implementing leasing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue. They will also conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the retail leasing market, and ensure compliance with leasing policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities 1

Oversee all aspects of leasing management and developing leasing plans to identify new clients and negotiate with prospective tenants to maximize income.

Manage day-to-day operations of leasing and ensuring maximum optimization of resources.

Set up objectives and targets and monitoring regularly to ensure all objectives are achieved.

Lease vacant space according to a leasing plan/schedule in accordance with the relevant time frames set out therein.

Manage all leasing activities including attracting new tenants, vetting prospective clients, rental negotiations, and the development of attractive leasing packages.

Continually monitor tenant mix to ensure commercially profitable to the mall and in line with business strategy and market demand.

Review and negotiate lease transactions and agreements.

Supervise the planning, preparation, and execution of leasing functions.

Develop individual leasing concepts for different shopping centers, focusing on the needs of the visitors at each location.

Ensure that the centers have the right mix of retail tenants, using expertise and fair approach as equal partners to win over new tenants during the acquisition process and in lease negotiations.

Negotiation skills, market knowledge, and relationship-building prowess.

Excel in identifying prime retail locations, negotiating favorable lease terms, and managing lease agreements.

Adept at analyzing market trends, understanding consumer behavior, and forecasting demand to optimize occupancy rates and rental income.

Demonstrate proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and contract management to ensure the profitability and sustainability of retail spaces under their purview.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills are paramount for fostering strong partnerships with property owners, retailers, and other stakeholders in the leasing process.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
 

Job Experience

Minimum 10 year(s) working experience, 8 year(s) in a relevant supervisory position, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
