SAP Technical Lead

Job Summary

The SAP Technical Lead is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing and testing SAP reports, enhancements, interfaces, forms, workflows and conversion programs. The position performs relevant SAP configuration and testing while also stays responsible for the designs and development of test plans for executing unit, integration, system and performance tests.

Job Responsibilities 1

Act as the technical expert, ensuring quick turnaround in identifying application issues and providing timely solutions.

Develop detailed plans and accurate estimates for completion of build, system testing and implementation phases of projects, interfaces and technical developments.

Transform business function requirements into technical program specs to code, test and debug programs.

Develop, code, document and execute unit tests, systems, integration and acceptance tests and testing tools for functions of high complexity.

Perform performance tuning to improve performance over multiple functions

Engage other technical team members in the design, delivery, and deployment of solutions.

Ensure integration system activities including monitoring the technical architecture (particularly scalability, availability and archiving) meet all SLA's.

Manage operational support, performing work during change windows as well as providing on-call support as required by the team.

Undertake performance tuning activities for SAP integration activities.

 Mentor and coach junior developer resources.

Provide technical expert services on new and existing initiatives.

Responsible to create and manage custom portal development.

Responsible to design and develop applications consistent with the UI strategy.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge on SAP CAP Development.

Strong knowledge on Node.js, XSOData, Workflow and Hana Calculation views.

Strong knowledge and working experience in UI5 related programming like JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, JQuery and CDS Developments.

Strong debugging knowledge on Node, XSOData services and Custom Fiori Applications.

Knowledge in OData and CPI Integration with Cloud Applications.

Working experience in SAP Business Application studio and SAP Web IDE.

Portal Applications and Standards, Content Management Systems, AJAX and XML technologies.

Knowledge on UI5 components such as List, Table, Expandable, and Smart Table,etc

Prior experience in HTML, XML, JavaScript, SQL, Java or C#, SOAP-based web services

Extensive experience with Agile or iterative development methodologies.

Job Experience

Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
