Job Summary

    The Safety Compliance Manager monitors, supports, and promotes the health and safety compliance of all project, offices, and yard staff; conducts monthly/Weekly project, yard and facility safety inspections; administers the Safety Incentive Program. Provides training in all needed areas of safety and assists is setting the policies and procedures for HSE. Works with local authorities when needed and provides safety guidance, support, and leadership to the Company. This position also monitors the integrated management system for Health and Safety as mandated by performance standards, work plans, policies and procedures, and all applicable local regulations

Job Responsibilities 1

    Lead design, implement, and evaluate OHS programs that facilitate the professional continuous improvement

    to achieve intended Company objective.

    Supervise a group of personnel in related business unit, each performing similar and/or interrelated tasks and

    activities.

    Lead design, lead implementation of OHSE annual strategy to influence the achievement of Zero Harm.

    Develop and formulates safety, compliance, and accident prevention strategies, goals, and objectives.

    Develop and drives continual improvement in health, safety, and environmental management system.

    Provide analysis of HSE statistics.

    Develop and formulate safety, compliance strategies, goals, and objective.

    Solicit, plan and establish audit programme, and conduct interval HSE audit and inspections.

Job Responsibilities 2

Solicit and follow to maintain monthly HSE corporate Monthly, annual report.

Solicit, establish lesson learned from the accident, incident and another event, such as safety advisory with

reference to Monthly report analytical result.

Develop and implement strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged project management.

Direct safety managers during crisis situations.

Direct the development and facilitation of safety and compliance training and other training course deemed

necessary such as IOSH training (Leading, managing, working and fire safety training).

Ensure project, facility and yard are compliant with and execute safety and compliance policies, procedures,

and regulations.

Provide overall direction and support function of the project, facilities, and yards.

Ensure to complete Accident Investigation and Hazard Identification reports of the fatal incident or disable

injury these required to be investigated thoroughly under the requirement o IMS HSE procedure.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge in Health, Safety and Environmental management principles and processes. Knowledge in risk

assessment and management principles and processes. Knowledge in construction practices across State of

Qatar. Knowledge in ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001.Knowledge of international and local HSE

legislation. Knowledge in integrated management system. Chartered Institute of Occupational health and safety

(CMIOSH), Or Board of certified safety professional (BCSP).Lead Auditor ISO 14001, OHSAS,

ISO9001.Knowledge in and Certified in Fire Safety. Membership of Internationally recognized bodies (e.g.

CMIOSH, CSP).

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or any related field
Professional Qualification in NEBOSH or Level 6 Diploma in OHS
