Job Summary

    The Sales Manager is responsible for the sales team by providing guidance, training and mentorship, setting sales quotas and goals, creating sales strategies, analyzing data, assigning sales territories and building the team. To direct and oversee all sales policies, objectives and initiatives. Set short- and long-term sales strategies and evaluate effectiveness of current sales programs. Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.

Job Responsibilities 1

    Develop sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of Company sales goals and profitability

    Prepare action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.

    Identify opportunities and grow new business from a variety of large multi national, local and regional organizations to ensure a diverse complimentary mix of events.

    Establish yearly sales objectives for the department by forecasting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new brands/services

    Set individual sales targets with the sales team

    Implement sales programs by developing detailed action plans for team members

    Plan to ensure achievement of personal target, aligning with Company sales policies and strategies.

    Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team

    Track sales goals and reporting results as necessary

    Take corrective actions when needed to ensure objectives are met

    Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales target and KPI target are met

    Ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward and individual recognition

    Assess the strengths and weaknesses of the sales team and manage the sales program accordingly

    Meet with customers to discuss their evolving needs and to assess the quality of our Company's relationship with them

in-depth knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform strategic decision-making and sales approaches effectively.

Strong leadership skills enable Sales Managers to inspire, coach, and empower sales teams to achieve targets and deliver exceptional results.

Proficiency in developing and implementing sales strategies aligned with organizational goals allows Sales Managers to drive revenue growth and market expansion.

Excellent communication skills facilitate the cultivation of strong relationships with clients, fostering trust, understanding, and long-term partnerships.

Analytical skills to interpret sales data, identify opportunities for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales performance and drive success.

ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

Minimum 8 year(s) working experience, 5 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus

Education
