Job Summary
The Sales Support Officer is responsible to assist and facilitate the sales team in various administrative and operational tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient sales processes. The role is crucial in enhancing the effectiveness of the sales team by providing administrative and operational support, contributing to streamlined processes, and ensuring a positive experience for both internal teams and external clients.
Job Responsibilities 1
Provide administrative support to the sales team in daily operations.
Process sales orders and coordinate with relevant departments for order fulfillment.
Respond to customer inquiries, address concerns, and provide information about products or services.
Coordinate sales activities, schedules, and appointments for the sales team.
Assist in the preparation of sales quotations, proposals, and presentations.
Maintain and update customer databases, sales records, and contact lists.
Monitor and track inventory levels to support sales order processing.
Utilize sales support tools and CRM systems to streamline processes.
Conduct follow-up communication with customers to gather feedback and ensure satisfaction.
Prepare and manage sales documentation, contracts, and agreements.
Support the onboarding of new sales team members and provide training on sales support processes.
Coordinate logistics for sales-related events, exhibitions, or product launches.
Generate and analyze sales reports for the sales team and management.
Assist in conducting market research to gather information on competitors, industry trends, and customer preferences.
Act as a liaison between the sales team and other departments, facilitating effective communication.
Utilize CRM systems to track customer interactions, sales opportunities, and account information.

Job Knowledge & Skills
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Understanding of the organization's products or services.
Knowledge of sales processes, from lead generation to order fulfillment.
Understanding of customer service principles to address inquiries and concerns.
Familiarity with order processing systems and procedures.
Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems for data management.
Understanding of sales documentation, contracts, and agreements.
Awareness of market research techniques to gather relevant information.
Job Experience
Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
